Easy and Quick dressing full of flavor!

You will be amazed how much flavor this dressing packs with just a few ingredients!

If you need a gorgeous rainbow salad to go with this delicious dressing, check out my Rainbow Salad.

Basically, you just combine the following ingredients and shake away. You can whisk together but I like to shake everything up in a jar.

¼ cup Seasoned Rice Wine Vinegar

⅛ cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil

½ teaspoon Asian Five Spice Powder

    Salt and Pepper to taste.

Serve over your favorite salad. I recommend my Spiral Rainbow Salad with Chinese Five-Spice Salad Dressing

    A Few Notes

Rice Wine Vinegar vs. Seasoned Rice Wine Vinegar:

If you just have regular rice wine vinegar (not seasoned) you can add a little extra salt, pepper and a pinch of sugar). Otherwise, you will be fine. This is not an issue to panic about.

    Chinese Five Spice Powder

You can find variations of Chinese Five Spice Powder. The one I use is THIS which has Cinnamon, Star Anise, Fennel, Ginger, Cloves, White Pepper and Licorice Root (Ummmm… that is not 5! That’s on them). Dynasty brand is pretty common in supermarkets if you don’t want to buy online.

Again, if you find a different variation you are generally going to be ok. You are going to see similar ingredients (give or take a couple).
