Notes
(1) Nut Butter: I recommend all natural, no sugar added. If you are using a sweetened version, you will want to reduce the amount of the maple syrup. Peanut butter, cashew butter and almond butter are all good choices for this recipe.(2) Almond Flour Substitute: You can also substitute oat flour.(3) Vegan Chocolate Chips: If you use mini chocolate chips, you may want to use slightly less than ½ cup (closer to ⅓ cup). Add them to your taste preferences.(4) Wax or Parchment Paper: If you don't have wax or parchment paper on hand, that is fine. Grease the bottom of your baking pan well. The parchment paper is helpful to take the bars out and get a clean slice. It will just be a bit messier without the parchment paper but they will still turn out delicious.Vegan Peanut Butter Blondies: Substitute peanut butter chocolate chips for regular. Use peanut butter for but butter of choice.Vegan Blondie Brownies: Mix this recipe with vegan brownie recipe to create swirls.Vegan White Chocolate Blondies: Substitute White chocolate chips.
