Ingredients

  • 8 biscuits (refrigerated)
  • air fryer safe cooking spray or oil (for fryer basket)

Instructions

  • Lightly spray air fryer basket with air fryer safe cooking spray.
  • Place biscuits into air fryer basket in a single layer. The biscuits should not touch allowing enough room for them to expand.
  • On 350°, cook for approximately 7-9 minutes. I recommend that you check after 7 minutes to make sure they do not burn. You can flip them at this time but that is optional.
  • If additional cook time is needed, cook for an additional 1 minute (check each time) until you reach your desired level of crispness as needed.

Notes

Frozen Biscuits in Air Fryer: If cooking from frozen, you will want to add 1-2 minutes to your cook time and check them. You can also pull them ahead of time from the freezer.
Smaller vs Jumbo Biscuits: If cooking small biscuits, you will want to start with a cook time of about 5 minutes and then check them. Cook for another 2 minutes or so as needed.
Air Fryer Biscuit Brands: This recipe works for the large Pillsbury Grand's Biscuits (Flakey Layers, Southern Style or Homemade Buttermilk), Mary B's biscuits, Kroger Jumbo Buttermilk Biscuits, Great Value Buttermilk Biscuits, Rhodes Bake-n-Serve biscuits, Food Club Biscuits, Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Frozen Biscuits, Bisquick biscuits, Tennesee Pride sausage biscuits and Morning Fresh Farms Buttermilk Biscuits.
Types of Air Fryers: This recipe works with many different types of air fryers such as the Ninja Foodi air fryer, Gourmia air fryer, Cosori air fryer, Power XL air fryer, Instant Vortex air fryer, Nuwave air fryer and Phillips air fryer.
Air Fryer Tips:
  • Don't crowd your biscuits
  • Aluminum foil or parchment paper is not recommended for this recipe. Air flow will allow for a more evenly cooked biscuit.
