Air Fryer Toast (No Flip!)

Air fryer toast is super easy to make and readyin minutes! Toast in air fryer is the perfect way to make perfectly crispy breakfasttoast without a toaster. Plus, air fryer toast bread doesn’t even requireflipping!

  • 1 slice bread as many slices of bread that can fit in air fryer without overlapping
  • air fryer safe cooking spray (optional) or butter


  • Preheat air fryer to 400°
  • Lightly spray air fryer basket with cooking spray. Spray top of bread to avoid bread burning. Alternatively, you can pre-butter each slice of bread.
  • Place bread slices in fryer basket. Do not overfill basket. Bread should not overlap.
  • Cook for approximately 2-4 minutes on 400°
  • Enjoy air fryer toast plain, with butter, jam, nut butter or toppings of your choice.
  • If this is your first time making air fryer toast in your air fryer, try lowest cook time as the thickness of the bread and air fryers cook times can vary.
  • Depending on your air fryer, the size of your fryer basket and amount of bread slices in the basket, you can cook for an additional 1 minutes until you reach your desired level of crispness for your toast in air fryer.


Pre-Heating Air Fryer: I recommend pre-heating air fryer. However, if you choose not to pre-heat, add about 3-4 minutes to your cook time. Check for crispiness at the end of your cook time and add additional cook time as needed until your air fryer toast reaches desired level of crispiness.
Ninja Foodi Toast. Ninja Air Fryer Toast, Ninja Foodi Grill Toast, Instant Vortex Toast, Emeril Air Fryer Toast: This recipe works for most all brands of air fryers. Start with the lower cook time the first time you make your toast in air fryer.
