Faroe Island Salmon

Faroe Island salmon is some of the most delicious salmon you will ever eat! Grilled Faroe Island salmon is an excellent choice for preparation but you can also easily cook tender and flavorful Faroe salmon in the oven or in a pan/cast iron skillet.

Grilled Faroe Island Salmon

  • Pre-heat grill on high. Clean off grill grates.
  • Reduce grill heat to medium-high heat.
  • Generously coat your Faroe Island salmon fillet in olive oil on both sides.
  • Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Start grilling skin side down for 3-5 minutes. You will see the sides of the fish start to cook.
  • Flip and cook another 3-4 minutes until done. FDA recommends a safe internal cooking temperature is 145°.
  • Note: Do not close the cover while grilling.

Oven Baked Faroe Island Salmon

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  • Place Faroe Island salmon fillets on baking sheet or in Pyrex baking dish.
  • Sprinkle any desired seasoning evenly over top of Faroe Island salmon.
  • Bake 13-16 minutes until Faroe salmon cooked through.

Notes

Type of Salmon: Can also use king, Coho, chinook or regular farmed salmon.
