Bang Bang Sauce

Bang Bang Sauce is sweet, spicy, creamy and the perfect drizzle or dipping sauce for seafood (shrimp!), meat and vegetables. This sauce was made famous by the Bonefish Grill appetizer Bang Bang Shrimp and the homemade version is so easy to make!

Equipment

  • Small bowl.

Ingredients

  • cup mayonnaise Note: Full fat, light or fat free
  • 3 tablespoon thai sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha Note: Can add more for extra spice if desired

Instructions

  • Combine mayonnaise, thai sweet chili sauce and sriracha in a small bowl.
  • Mix well and enjoy!
  • Great dipping sauce for fried chicken, bang bang chicken, bang bang shrimp, french fries, and poke bowls.
  • Store in an air tight container or in a small bowl with plastic wrap tightly covered.

Notes

Modifications: Serve with a sprinkle of salt and pepper, dash of hot sauce or garlic powder. Substituting a portion of the mayonnaise for Greek yogurt will lower fat and saturated fat.
