Ingredients

  • ¼ cup salted butter, softened
  • 5 tablespoon granulated white sugar
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour (heat treated)
  • 2 tablespoon milk or alternative milk
  • sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, mix butter, sugar and vanilla extract together until thoroughly combined.
  • Slowly mix in the heat-treated flour.
  • Add milk (use additional if needed) until desired cookie dough consistency is achieved.

Notes

Heat Treated Flour: It is best to purchase flour that has already been heat treated. Alternatively, you can heat treat in the microwave. Heat for 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until the temperature of the flour reaches 160 F (approximately 2-3 minutes).
Milk: This recipe works with any milk including alternative milks such as soy milk, coconut milk, pea milk or oat milk.
