Ingredients

  • 4 large chicken breasts (cut lengthwise into 2 smaller thinner (flat) pieces)
  • 3 tablespoons oil (vegetable, canola, olive oil)
  • 1-2 tablespoons seasoning of choice

Instructions

  • Slice chicken breasts lengthwise into 2 smaller, thinner (flat) pieces.
  • Rub chicken breasts with oil on each side. Sprinkle seasonings of choice evenly over both sides of chicken breasts.
  • Heat Blackstone griddle to medium-high heat.
  • Generously oil Blackstone griddle. Use oil squeeze bottle or Blackstone spatula to spread.
  • Place the filleted chicken breasts on the griddle.
  • Cook for approximately 3-5 minutes on each side (flipping halfway) until the chicken breasts reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.
  • Remove chicken from griddle and allow to rest 5 minutes. Enjoy!

Notes

Chicken Cooking Temperature: FDA recommendation for cooking chicken is an internal temperature of 165° F (63° C). I recommend using a thermometer that measures the internal temperature of the meat as well as the internal temperature of the smoker
