    • Oil: I recommend a high smoke point oil such as canola, vegetable, grapeseed or avocado.

    How to cook chicken on Blackstone griddle

    1. Slice chicken breasts lengthwise into 2 smaller, thinner (flat) pieces.
    2. Rub chicken breasts with oil on each side. Sprinkle seasonings of choice evenly over both sides of chicken breasts.
    3. Heat Blackstone griddle to medium-high heat.
    4. Generously oil Blackstone griddle. Use oil squeeze bottle or Blackstone spatula to spread.
    5. Place the filleted chicken breasts on the griddle.
    6. Cook for approximately 3-5 minutes on each side (flipping halfway) until the chicken breasts reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.
    7. Remove Blackstone chicken from griddle and allow to rest 5 minutes. Enjoy!

    I recommend using a thermometer that measures the internal temperature of the meat as well as the internal temperature of the smoker

    As a general rule of thumb, boneless, skinless chicken breasts on the Blackstone should be cooked on medium-high heat until the internal temperature reaches 165°F on an instant-read thermometer.

    Clean griddle or flat top after each use. Cool griddle below 300° F. Scrape food debris with spatula or straight metal scraper. Wipe down griddle surface with paper towel. Using a small amount of water, wipe again with a paper towel and dry completely.
    Apply thin coat of cooking oil to maintain seasoning and protect the griddle top.
