- Cake Mix: I recommend a 15.25 oz. Duncan Hines red velvet cake mix. You can use other boxed cake mixes such as Betty Crocker or Pillsbury (they may be around 18 oz. but those will still work).
- Chocolate Chips: White chocolate chips are best for a Duncan Hines red velvet cookies.
- Oil or Butter: This recipe calls for oil but you can also substitute butter.
- Eggs: Two large regular or organic eggs.
How to make Duncan Hines Red Velvet Cookies
- Line baking sheet with parchment paper or grease pan (rub small amount of oil/butter or pan spray).
- Preheat oven 350 degrees.
- In large mixing bowl, combine cake mix, oil OR melted and 2 eggs.
- Mix with hand beater until dough forms.
- Add 1 cup (or more if desired) white chocolate chips.
