- Potatoes: Russet, baby, fingerling, red or yellow potatoes.
- Onion: Sweet, yellow or red onion (sweet is my favorite).
- Peppers: Red, green, yellow orange peppers (optional).
- Oil: Vegetable, canola, olive oil or any oil of choice. High smoke point is best.
- Seasonings of Choice: See recommendations below.
- Kosher Salt
How to cook Blackstone Potatoes
- Preheat Blackstone griddle flat top to medium-high heat.
- In medium bowl, toss diced potatoes, onions and peppers with 2 tablespoons oil and seasoning. Mix thoroughly.
- Heat Blackstone griddle to medium-high heat. Generously oil Blackstone griddle. Use oil squeeze bottle or Blackstone spatula to spread.
- Place potatoes on Blackstone and spread them out in one even layer.
- Cook for approximately 15-20 minutes (stir every few minutes) or until potatoes are soft with a crispy exterior.
- Remove Blackstone potatoes from griddle and enjoy!
