These are usually refrigerated so you can look for these biscuits in the refrigerated (sometimes frozen) section of your local grocery store.
Cooking Spray: Greasing the fryer basket with a cooking spray will help with sticking and provide ease in cooking but this is optional.
Instructions to make canned biscuits in air fryer
- Lightly spray air fryer basket with air fryer safe cooking spray.
- Place biscuits into air fryer basket in a single layer. The biscuits should not touch allowing enough room for them to expand.
- On 350°, cook for approximately 7-9 minutes. I recommend that you check after 7 minutes to make sure they do not burn. You can flip them at this time but that is optional.
- If additional cook time is needed, cook for an additional 1 minute (check each time) until you reach your desired level of crispness as needed.
Tips to make the perfect air fryer biscuits
Don’t crowd your biscuits. They can be friends, but don’t overlap them. They will expand.
Aluminum foil or parchment paper is not recommended for this recipe. Air flow will allow for a more evenly cooked biscuit.
Frozen Biscuits in Air Fryer: If cooking from frozen, you will want to add 1-2 minutes to your cook time and check them. You can also pull them ahead of time from the freezer.
Smaller vs Jumbo Biscuits: If cooking small biscuits, you will want to start with a cook time of about 5 minutes and then check them. Cook for another 2 minutes or so as needed.
